Fan Yong, a pivotal figure in Chinese publishing following the nation’s reform and opening up, led a life deeply intertwined with the written word. In his later years, he continued to write and champion books. The book, commemorating the 100th anniversary of Fan Yong’s birth, also chronicles his friendship with Li Gongpu, Chen Baichen, Tian Jiaying, Qi Gong, Wang Shixiang, Luo Fu and Ding Cong.
