Though living with his mom and grandma, the boy Feather learned to say the word papa first. Mom told him his dad was a bird. Because of the innate connection with birds, Feather grew up with ever-stronger passion and obsession with them. He drew birds with twigs in the snow, painted birds on the walls at home, and adorned the walls of the entire town with various bird doodles. He collected beautiful feathers shed by birds and carefully clipped them between the pages of his books. One day, while chasing an unfamiliar feather, the boy encountered a black dove lost in the storm, who then became his most loyal and inseparable friend.
Every holiday, Feather would set out with his black dove to look for a large gray bird and his dad. Along the journey, he encountered various people and experiences: a deceitful boy from a strange town and a young man named Yeshu who silently watching over him, a blind grandpa searching for his son... These experiences were like puzzle pieces gradually forming a strange and heartwarming picture. Finally, in one of his journeys, he came across an ornithologist coming back from Italy. The two of them, though meeting for the first time, seemed to have known each other for long. Would this mark the end of Feather’s journeys?
