Introduction

The authors of this book, from the perspective of human nature and consumption upgrading in the age of internet, reveal the “compensatory satisfaction” function of entertainment and games in our society, and point out that the production of excellent entertainment content must consider its social value. The authors describe three important landmarks of the new era of the metaverse: the granular society, the experience era, and the game scenes.
