This book tries to make a comprehensive research combining art and history. Numerous art history works and museums display specific themes, styles, techniques and schools in an orderly and distinct way. We almost forget that what we have are just fragments, and even more so, we forget the various disasters that the fragments have experienced. This book seeks to refocus on these fragments which disrupt the integrity and visual boundaries of artworks, thus leading to new issues that we have neglected. The subjects of this books are not limited to specific artistic forms such as painting or sculpture, but involve a wider range of fields including images, statues, cities, architectures, objects, literature, metal and stone articles, devices, among others.
