The book is a thematic publication to celebrate the centenary of the Communist Party of China, written by experts from China Musicians Association and Institute of Party History and Literature of the CPC Central Committee, and jointly published by People’s Music Publishing House and Party History Publishing House of the CPC Central Committee. Set with a theme of the Party’s development since its founding, it appreciates and analyzes classic songs from different historical moments in modern and contemporary times and introduces the corresponding background of each song in the CPC history. About 140 songs were selected in 10 chapters.
