Under the general editorship of Liu Zhengcheng, a renowned calligraphy scholar and calligrapher, the Chinese Calligraphy series encompasses Chinese calligraphy works from prehistory through the Shang and Zhou dynasties and up to modern times, with each installment edited by leading Chinese calligraphy experts. With nearly eighty installments published so far, this volume marks a significant new addition to the series. The vast time period covered, the richness of calligraphy styles represented, and the meticulous editing process made this volume a complex undertaking that required five years to complete. Professor Zhu Tianshu served as the editor-in-chief, with Liu Xin and Chen Huaqiang as deputy editors.
