China Publishing Group is committed to innovation-driven development. Encyclopedia of China (Third Edition) Online, operated by Encyclopedia of China Publishing House, has released more than 500,000 entries. China National Publications Import and Export (Group) Co., Ltd.’s Star Fish Panoramic Literature VR, presented under the theme “From Books to the Future,” is based on the literary work Star Fish and combines 3D animation, six degrees of freedom (6DoF) and other virtual reality technologies to transform the literary work into an interactive, immersive digital reading experience. Readers can explore a virtual underwater world alongside the “Star Fish,” offering a new model for presenting literary IPs in digital form. World Publishing Corporation’s “Belt and Road Digital Language Learning Center” offers more than 1,000 video courses and over 1,000 e-books, audiobooks, and other digital resources in more than 40 languages, including English, Japanese, Korean, French, Thai, and Arabic. Its resources cover six areas—listening, speaking, reading, writing, translation, and test preparation—providing language learning resources and services for individual learners, language schools, research institutions, libraries, and other users.

The exhibition area also featured the “Chinese AI Reading Space” created by Gulian (Beijing) Media Tech Co., Ltd., subordinate to Zhonghua Book Company. The project combines smart interactive projection, AIGC, and other technologies to create an immersive, intelligent, and digital reading space built around ancient Chinese classics, offering readers a new experience through the integration of culture and technology and exploring a new model that brings traditional culture and modern technology together. Works including Tiangong Kaiwu (The Exploitation of the Works of Nature), Bencao Gangmu (Compendium of Materia Medica), and Ancient Chinese Poetry for Primary Schools drew visitors in, offering an engaging way to explore traditional knowledge and connect with classic works through simulated scenarios, interactive games, and voice-based Q&A.

Digital products including the “Renwen Dushu Sheng” app from People’s Literature Publishing House, the “Hanfen” app from The Commercial Press, “Digital Renmei” from People’s Fine Arts Publishing House, the GeWu AI Platform from China Translation Corporation, and the LUFFA AI model for science and technology from China National Publications Import and Export (Group) Co., Ltd. also attracted widespread attention from participating guests during the expo.
