Wang Shuizhao
王水照

Wang Shuizhao, born in 1934, is a native of Yuyao, Zhejiang Province. He is a literary historian and senior professor of liberal arts at Fudan University. In 1955, he was admitted to the Department of Chinese Language and Literature of Peking University. In 1960, after graduation, he began his work at the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (now the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences), and was transferred to the Department of Chinese Language and Literature of Fudan University as a teacher in the spring of 1978. He has also been the president and honorary president of the China Society of Literature of the Song Dynasty, and was awarded the Shanghai Academic Contribution Award in 2012. He is the author of Su Shi Anthology (Su Shi Xuanji), On Su Shi  (Su Shi Yanjiu), Discussion on Song Dynasty Literature (Songdai Wenxue Tonglun), Qian Zhongshu’s Academic Life (Qian Zhongshu De Xueshu Rensheng), The Three Literati Groups of the Northern Song Dynasty (Beisong Sanda Wenren Jituan), Wang Shuizhao’s Collected Works (Wang Shuizhao Wenji), etc. He is also the editor of Literary Writings Through the Ages (Lidai Wenhua), The Complete Works of Wang Anshi (Wang Anshi Quanji), The Complete Works of Sima Guang (Sima Guang Quanji), etc.
