Sun Yu is an international baritone singer,  national first-class actor, international opera artist, writer, opera scriptwriter and director. He is a member of Chinese Writers Association, Chinese Dramatists Association and Chinese Musicians Association. He is the Gold Medalist of the International Wagner Vocal Competition and starred in nearly 70 classic operas. He has published many literature works, including, Tragic Hero, Black Butterfly, General Yang Jingyu, and Qiu Jin. His works have received the World Chinese Literature Award from Unitas, and the Wujin Novel Award from Chinese Writers Association and Writers Association in the Coal Mine Community.
