This book is the 237th volume of Painting Appreciation Series of Rong Bao Zhai. It includes more than 50 works by the famous painter Xu Qinsong. Xu Qinsong is a member of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, a columnist and expert of the China Internet Information Center of the State Council Information Office, vice chairman of the China Artists Association, vice chairman of the Guangdong Federation of Literary and Art Circles, president of the Guangdong Art Institute, and chairman of the Guangdong Artists Association. A large number of works by the painter Xu Qinsong have been displayed at international, national and provincial art and print exhibitions. Xu has participated in every edition of the 6th to 15th National Print Exhibition. Interested in both printmaking and Chinese painting, the artist is incorporating some of the techniques of printmaking, such as the expression of strength, into Chinese painting, making his Chinese paintings more coherent and powerful. Xu Qinsong has been painting landscape as if they were chiseled out of wood.
