This book is a research monograph based on first-hand information on field investigations. Focusing on the Bali Ramayana Sendratari as the research object, this study adopts methods such as field investigation, multiple musical abilities, cultural identity, cross-cultural understanding, and dance anthropology to analyze the music of the Bali Ramayana Sendrattari. The author introduces for the first time the Indonesian Bali music score "Kokar" for analysis, exploring the relationship between music, dance, and drama, as well as its connections to life and religion, in order to study the cultural integration behind. From the perspective of cultural identity, it investigates why this dance drama continues to flourish in the Bali despite the impact of popular culture, and why it is recognized by the entire Indonesian country and even foreign tourists. This study may offer insights for the future development of Chinese dance drama.
