Targeting the most influential well-known cursive script calligraphers, the series has selected 50 classic characters from the works of each calligraphers or their copybooks, and analyzed those characters from six spectrums in terms of layout, brush, stroke, the same characters from the same copybook, the similar characters from the same copybook, and also the calligraphy of the same character from different calligraphists across dynasties, striving to find out the best principles applied to calligraphy in practice and the pattern of variations.
