Confucianism is both the mainstream political philosophy in Chinese history, and a mirror of the psychological structure of Chinese people. This book reviews the pre-Qin Confucianism to discover and draw nourishment from Confucian classic writings, and interprets them with the tools of modern analytical philosophy. It aims to explore the modern significance of Confucian culture, and construct a modern political philosophy based on Confucianism.
