The Calligraphic Works Collection of Senior Revolutionaries consists of six books: Selected Calligraphy Works of Mao Zedong, Selected Calligraphy Works of Zhou Enlai, Selected Calligraphy Works of Liu Shaoqi, Selected Calligraphy Works of Zhu De, Selected Calligraphy Works of Deng Xiaoping, and Selected Calligraphy Works of Chen Yun. Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Liu Shaoqi, Zhu De, Deng Xiaoping, and Chen Yun are the founding fathers of the People’s Republic of China, and core members of the first central leadership group upon the establishment of PRC. These works are selected from a vast load of their manuscripts and printed based on authentic publications, many of which are published for the first time. They boast not only rich ideological implications, but also extremely high literature value. By understanding and researching their calligraphy art, we could explore their trajectories, touch their spiritual world, and feel their personality charm.
